Qatar’s Amir Sends Condolences to Japan After Kumamoto Earthquake

The Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, has sent his condolences to Japan’s Emperor Naruhito following the earthquake that struck Kumamoto City in southern Japan.

In a cable to Emperor Naruhito, Sheikh Tamim expressed his sympathy over the victims of the earthquake and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

Qatar’s Deputy Amir, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, also sent a separate cable of condolences to the Japanese Emperor, expressing sympathy for those affected by the disaster and wishing the injured a swift recovery.

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, likewise sent condolences to Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi over the earthquake victims and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

The messages reflect Qatar’s solidarity with Japan following the natural disaster and its condolences to those affected by the earthquake in Kumamoto.
